@lfcmaccalfc1 I have two males and they are not all as big and bulky as Rogue. Ours are on strict diets and are very actice. Our largest is 220 pounds and when he moves you can see muscle definition. Our vet tells us that we should be able to see the rib cage. Our smallest right now is one year and he is about 145 pounds. These dogs are great watch dogs. They also want to be with their family all the time. Also, if you can not deal with drool, do not get a Mastiff. They are a 220 pound lap dog.

English Mastiffs are actually great apartment pets and they don’t need a big yard. As long as they get enough excersize they can live pretty much anywhere, and are great with children.

LUCKY YOU !!! What a joy that dog is !

  12. luridhue says:

that’s not a full mastiff.. it has something else in it – she looks almost full but a mastiff does not have a curling tail.. even when excited like that.

I like how she is showing off for you. Working dogs like to prove they are useful. She seems really healthy, happy and well balanced.

2nd post follow up: If ever any dogs i ever own again in the future, i will make sure i take them frequently to the VET more often then not, also, dont ever assume the DOG is alright, because they cant speak to you, so you have to be there eyes, ears, and brains for them. Max didnt even cry out in any pain, but something was definatley wrong, the vet said he might have had a heart attack, or cancer, or something wrong with his internal organs.. I love my baby max, i miss u..check out my video ….

What a wonderful mastiff you have, Sadly my Dog MAx just past away 2 weeks ago on DEC 7th. I cant tell you how much i am SAD over losing MAX. He Died in my Bed when i woke up in the morning. Max was sick the nite before, he threw up a couple times, but nothing made me suspect he would hve died. I was going to take hom to the Vet fo a routine checkup in the morning. Max seemed to be having trouble peeing, it might have been RENAL KIDNEY FAILURE. MAX was only 8 years old, A SAD LOSS.. GODBLESS U !
